2nd Grade Dancer: Sean Duffy
Though many believe that Sean “Bob and Weave” Duffy got his nickname because of his exploits as a Golden Gloves boxer, the truth is that Sean’s moniker is derived from his early 80’s break dancing days in the B-Boy mecca, Daly City. Although Sean was an early icon in the B-Boy movement, he is a true dance chameleon – equally comfortable in samba, rhumba, and swing. Furthermore, he has led the conga line in over 200 weddings.

“That boy has moves that most human beings couldn’t even dream of!”
2nd Grade Dancer: Kerry Lucey
Although Kerry Lucey got her start in Irish dancing in San Francisco’s Sunset District, she felt limited by the restricted arm movements and quickly evolved into expert copier of dance routines from movies such as Flashdance and Footloose, and she also borrowed liberally from the music videos of Paula Abdul. Although she still credits the Solid Gold Dancers as her biggest influence, she can’t help recognizing early dance partner and current manager, Liz Reardon Broderick.

“Kerri was a bit bossy during our early routines, but she’s one hell of a dancer.”
