Here's your chance to gather friends for the ultimate 3rd Grade event of the year!
Coordinate with two other families to win the Teacher Trio Day.
Teacher Trio Day for 3 Students is a one-day event. Each of the 3 students will be a teacher. Three families should combine their auctioning power to win this item.
While one student is teaching, the other 2 students will serve as the teachers aide; grading, filing, organizing papers. Students rotate as teacher and the teacher's assistants. Each student will be a teacher for approximately 1/3 of the day (about 2 hours).
Teacher for a day includes meeting after school with Ms. Denehy in preparation for the day of teaching. Teacher preparation includes lesson planning, organizing, photocopying, etc.
The teaching day may include the following subjects:
*Relgion - Math - Language Arts - Science - Cursive - Art
*Teacher preparation: planning, organizing, photocopying, etc
*Assigning Homework
*Teacher duties include: planning, teaching, behavior management, grading papers, filing and all duties necessary for that day's teaching.
*All teachers, including Ms. Denehy, will lunch together in Room 2.
Students will receive:
*A free dress pass for the teaching day
*Teacher supplies such as mechanical pencils, scissors etc.
*3 home work passes for the 4th quarter
*10% bonus for one graded assignment of your choice for the 4th quarter (ie science test 89% + 10% = 99% means that the 89% B grade becomes a 99% A grade).The 10% does NOT count towards the entire grade for that quarter.
The Day Concludes with a BONUS: 45 minute Dance Lesson @3:15-4:00pm. The "teachers" will learn to dance the Cha, Cha, Cha.
