What is a lip sync battle?
A lip sync battle is when performers pretend to sing the song. No singing is required.
Why are we raising money for St. Cecilia School?
St. Cecilia Mother Club is committed to raising funds for the St. Cecilia School general fund. The Spring Fundraiser is one of many different ways we raise those funds. These funds support the school in many ways and this year we are raising funds to purchase new science textbooks. Funds raised beyond minimum fundraising goals will be used on modest auditorium enhancements. The more we raise, the more we will be able to do to support the school and our students.

No but we are hoping for 100% participation from all parents! The silent auctions and class projects will be available to bid online. Also, you can help your grade by donating to the fundraising before or during the event.

Yes, we will have a live auction.
I’m an Olympic Club member. Can I use my membership number to purchase drinks at the event?
Yes.
What is the dress code/what should I wear to the event?
Cocktail attire. Men must wear collared shirts. No Jeans allowed.
Will there be a paddle raise?
No, This year we will not raise the paddle. Instead, we are asking you to donate to your grade of choice. You can donate to the grade fundraising competition through 3 p.m. on March 22nd.
On March 22nd at 3 p.m. the donation competition begins for the performers. The cost is $10 per vote. You may purchase any quantity of votes through the auction website on your cell phone. Links will be sent out prior to the event.
You can vote until the performances are completed on Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. We will tally the votes and declare an overall winner.
Can I donate or participate even though I won’t be at the fundraiser?

Is the goal amount all we need to raise?
The goal is the minimum we are asking each grade to raise but if you want to be in 1st place you have to raise more than the other teams. Check out the
current leaderboard!

How does contest scoring work?
There are three ways for teams to earn points:
1.
Student Lip Sync Video Contest (ends 3 p.m. on March 22nd) Each grade participated in a student “Lip Sync Battle” – an in-school activity where the kids performed and videoed a lip sync with their entire grade. These videos will be viewable for two weeks (look out for a special email explaining how you can see the videos) and viewers can “vote for their favorite” videos. Help put your grade’s team in the lead by liking the videos between March 6th-22nd. The first place winner with the most votes and hearts will get 100 points.

FUNdraising Parties & Donations: Now - March 22—Parents are organizing fun parties or ways for each grade to raise money for their grade and parent-led Lip Sync team. FUNdraising will shut down at 3 p.m. on March 22nd. The first place winner with the most votes will get 100 points. Want to give your contribution online?

Live Lip Sync Battle Performance Voting, March 22-23—Get ready to vote for your parent-led Lip Sync Battle team as they hilariously mouth the words to WIN a golden mic trophy! What they lack in vocal talent, they’ll more than make up for in enthusiasm and dazzling dance moves. From 3 p.m. on March 22 to 9:30 p.m. on March 23, vote for your team on the
auction website until 9:30 p.m. Votes are $10 each. The first place winner with the most votes will get 100 points. If you have an existing Greater Giving account and have not already reset your password this year, please do so prior to voting.

The team with the most points overall will win SC Lip Sync Battle 2019! The winning team will be announced and awarded their trophy on event night!
In addition, the grade that earns the most votes wins a free dress day, and a pizza and movie party. Second and third place grades win an ice cream social.
