Come showcase your dope talent at SCTV’s TRL Top 10! Here’s the 411:

• What is Total Request Live (TRL)? TRL first aired on MTV in September 1998. TRL featured popular music videos played during its top 10 countdown

• Each grade will select 1 Artist (group of parent volunteers or solo parent volunteer) for a lip sync contest – TRL style!

• TRL dealio: the grade that fundraises the most dead presidents will be da phat Grand Prize Winner! Grades that place in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will earn parties.  Booyah!

1st place: pizza party and free dress

2nd place: ice cream party

3rd place: movie party

• Fundraising: $1 = 1 vote (per student average*). Cast your vote for your favorite Artist until March 22, 2024 (link to cast votes will be shared soon!). Anyone can vote - grandma can vote, your homies can vote!

 *Per Student Average means: Total Raised by Grade / Number of Students in Grade. All fundraising goals are based on the number of kids in the grade so they will all be different amounts.

• Requirements:

• Must be a 90s band/artist and song.
• No repeat bands/artists.
• Complete the SCTV TRL Google Sheet here
• Performance may not exceed 90 seconds
• Other Information:
• Donations will close March 22nd, 2024 at 6pm
• Amount of donations received will be removed from public view beginning on March 22, 2024 at 12pm, noon.
• Grades will perform from places 10th - 1st (based on per student average fundraising amounts) at the event on March 23rd.
